Cong Liu is a graduate student in the Lehigh Chemistry Department with expertise in the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous materials. He is interested in the synthesis of hard-templated 1-dimensional diamond mesostructures using mesoporous α-alumina templates. His work involves multiple analytical techniques including small and wide angle x-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, and gas adsorption. The photo shows Cong working at our Quantachrome Autosorb 1 instrument at Lehigh.
